Terms of Service

These terms apply to SaveMyDNS business-to-business technical services.

1. Business customers only

SaveMyDNS services are offered for business and professional use. By purchasing a service, you confirm that you are acting for business or professional purposes.

2. Services

SaveMyDNS provides DNS troubleshooting, recovery, migration and emergency technical support. The exact scope is determined by the service description shown before purchase and any later written quote.

3. Diagnostic scope

A diagnostic fee covers investigation, technical review, root-cause analysis and findings. A straightforward corrective change may be included when practical and safe. Larger remediation, migration or access-heavy work may require a separate quote.

4. Emergency service

Emergency requests receive priority handling when an engineer is available. Unless separately agreed in writing, no guaranteed response time, restoration time or 24/7 service-level agreement is provided.

5. Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about the affected domain and incident.
  • Ensure you are authorized to request work on the relevant systems and accounts.
  • Do not send passwords through email or website forms.
  • Use temporary, scoped or revocable access methods where practical.
  • Maintain your own backups and business continuity arrangements.

6. Payments and additional work

Listed diagnostic services are paid in advance. Additional work outside the initial scope is quoted separately and should not begin until the price and scope are accepted.

7. Third-party systems

DNS incidents often involve registrars, DNS providers, hosting companies, email providers and other third parties. SaveMyDNS cannot control third-party availability, policies, propagation behavior or changes made outside the agreed work.

8. No guarantee of resolution

Reasonable professional efforts are made to diagnose and resolve incidents, but no guarantee is made that every issue can be fully resolved, especially where access, third-party systems or missing historical information prevent remediation.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. SaveMyDNS is not liable for indirect or consequential business losses, lost profits or losses caused by third-party infrastructure.

10. Refunds

The Refund Policy forms part of these terms.

11. Privacy

See the Privacy Policy for information about handling personal data.
